FEEDERS
Vibrating conveyor-feeders have a trough connected with a stiff coupling to one or more vibrators. The vibrator generates an alternating oscillating movement that, through the metal structure, gives the product the necessary force to move.
They can be built for three main performance modes:
- open (the product is exposed to the environment and visible);
- closed (the transport surface has a removable cover that isolates the product from the environment);
- tubular (the product passes through a tubular structure, perfectly isolated from the environment).
In any case, the isolation of the machine is guaranteed by the elastic elements that separate it from the structure.
The possibility of changing the oscillation parameters allows users to adapt the capacity to different needs (also from a remote location).
Customers often have to adapt the machinery to their specific requirements. Here are a few examples of requests for variations:
- machines suspended from or supported by the steel framework (or a hybrid solution: supported/suspended);
- machines fed through a static terminal designed specifically for the product and process in question;
- machines with a wearproof lining suitable for the product being handled;
- machines designed for explosion hazard areas and which are, therefore ATEX certified; explosion risk area
- machines with variable frequency drivers (VFD), which allow changes to oscillation, parameters to adjust and control capacity;
- ….
For convenience, feeders are classified based on vibrator type:
