Dosing involves the extraction and transport of the product at a regular rate. Therefore, transport speed must be regular (or possibly adjustable with specific electronic controls) and transversal distribution in the direction of motion also needs to be uniform.  This is how it is possible to obtain a constant volumetric flow with very high precision.
