RESONANCE CONVEYORS

This type of conveyor offers many advantages compared to other types of conveyors, such as belt, screw, Redler, etc.

Just to name a few advantages:

  • minimal maintenance and operation costs;
  • filling coefficient up to 3 and 4 times higher than a belt conveyor;
  • the possibility of creating a completely closed trough to isolate the product;
  • the possibility of equipping said trough with specific thermal transfer systems (Fluid-Bed Vibrating  Dryers/Coolers);
  • the capacity to absorb and dispose of high peak loads, regulating and distributing the product uniformly by means of the vibrations.

There are three main types of resonance conveyors:

  • anchored design: the elastic system is directly anchored to the floor; therefore, it requires a reinforced concrete base that is adequately sized to isolate the machine correctly; this is a reliable, economical solution when infrastructures are being built and, therefore, the cost of the base is not high.
  • isolated frame design: the conveyor is connected to a heavy base with elastic elements; the base rests on the ground on elastic isolating elements; this solution makes it possible to reduce the dynamic force transmitted to the ground, thanks to the specifically designed and isolated base.
  • balanced design: in this case, the product transport trough is connected to a base of the same weight that moves with the same frequency but in the opposite direction through a system of connecting rods. This is the ideal solution for eliminating all vibrations, which are transferred to the surrounding ground.
